Conditions for Running the DTC

Condition 1
- Before the ECM can report that DTC P227B failed, DTCs P0107, P0108, P2228, P2229, P227C, and P227D must run and pass.
- DTC P0106, P0107, P0108, P2228, P2229, P2230, P227C, P227D, P227E or P2610 is not set.
- The ignition is ON, engine OFF.
- The time between the current ignition cycle and the previous drive cycle is greater than 5 s.
- DTC P227B runs continuously when the conditions above exist.
Condition 2
- DTC P0101, P0102, P0103, P0107, P0108, P0116, P0117, P0118, P0119, P0128, P0201, P0202, P0203, P0204, P020A, P020B, P020C, P020D, P0216, P02EE, P02EF, P02E8, P02E9, P02F0, P02F1, P0261, P0262, P0264, P0265, P0267, P0268, P0270, P0271, P0335, P0336, P062B, P062D, P111E, P122D, P1248, P1249, P124A, P124B, P126A, P16A0, P16A1, P16A2 P2147, P2148, P2150, P2151, P2228, P2229, P2230, P227C, P227D, or P227E is not set.
- The engine is operating.
- The ignition voltage is greater than 11 V.
- The engine speed is less than 1100 RPM.
- The intake airflow valve position is greater than 90%.
- The engine coolant temperature (ECT) is warmer than 70°C (158°F)
- DTC P227B runs continuously when the conditions above exist.
