Conditions for Setting the DTC

P0403 

The ECM detects an open on the control circuit for greater than 2.5 s.

P0490 

The ECM detects a short to voltage on the control circuit for greater than 2.5 s.

P1402 

The ECM detects a low voltage on the EGR motor supply for greater than 2.5 s.

P1407 

The ECM detects a short circuit between the open and close terminals of the EGR motor for greater than 2.5 s.

P140F 

The ECM detects excessive current flow to the EGR motor for greater than 2.5 s.
