Removal Procedure

CAUTION:
Do not bend the exhaust flex pipe more than 10 degrees in any direction. Bending of more than 10 degrees or twisting in a range of ± 0.5 degrees will damage the exhaust flex decoupler.
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Disconnect
Disconnect the exhaust temperature sensor - position 2 electrical connector (2).
- Unclip the exhaust temperature sensor - position 2 wiring harness plug from the bracket clip.
- Unclip the exhaust temperature sensor wiring harness from the 2 clips (3).
- Remove the exhaust temperature sensor - position 2 (1) from the catalytic converter.
