Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Do not bend the exhaust flex pipe more than 10 degrees in any direction. Bending of more than 10 degrees or twisting in a range of ± 0.5 degrees will damage the exhaust flex decoupler.

    NOTE:

    Do NOT bend the cable sharply at the base of either the sensing unit or sensor ECU in the final mounting position.

    Exhaust Particulate Sensor (1) - Install and tighten 45 N.m (33 lb ft)

    Wiring Harness Clip (1) - Install

    Install the exhaust particulate sensor control module (3) to the bracket (4).

  4. Exhaust Particulate Sensor Fastener (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  5. Wiring Harness Clip (5) - Install [2x]
  6. Connect the electrical connector. (2)
  7. Front Wheelhouse Liner - Right Side - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
  8. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  9. When the replacement is completed, use a scan tool to perform the appropriate reset functions. Control Module References
