Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Caution .

  1. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation

    Radiator Surge Tank Clip (2) - Remove

  3. Hang out the radiator surge tank without disconnecting the hoses and lay down carefully. (1)

    Brake Pipe Fitting (3) - Remove

  5. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  6. Cap the EBM brake pipe inlet ports to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  7. Brake Pipe (2)@Retainer (1) - Disconnect

    Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Remove

  9. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  10. Cap the brake hose fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  11. Brake Pipe (2)@Retainer (3) - Disconnect
  12. Remove the brake pipe.
