Procedure
Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove.

Windshield Wiper Arm Fastener

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
23 N.m (17 lb ft)

Windshield Wiper Arm

Procedure

Grasp the outer end of the wiper arm and gently rock the arm back and forth to remove from the pivot shaft.
Clean the wiper motor pivot shaft knurls With a soft wire brush before installing the wiper arm.
Position the wiper arm on the wiper motor pivot shaft.
