Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Assembly Replacement .

    Remove the head-up bolt (1) that secures the head up display (HUD) to the steering column bracket.

    Remove the HUD retaining nuts (1).

  5. Reposition the HUD and disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. Remove the HUD (2) from the vehicle.
