Conditions for Running the DTC

P034A

DTC P0335, P0336, or P0651 is not set.
The engine has started rotating during an auto-start event.
The crankshaft position is being verified.

The DTC runs each time the engine is started once the above conditions are met.

P034B

DTC P0335, P0336, or P0651 is not set.
Engine speed is between 400 - 2000 RPM.
The airflow into the engine is greater than 1.5 g/s.
The engine control module (ECM) detects crankshaft position sensor pulses.

The DTCs run continuously once the above conditions are met.
