Removal Procedure

  1. Transmission Replacement - Remove
  2. Starter Replacement (LUV)Starter Replacement (2H0)Starter Replacement (LE2-FWD)Starter Replacement (LE2-AWD) - Remove
  3. GM3763310

    Install the EN-51398  holder (2), lock the automatic transmission flexplate via the starter ring gear.

  4. Starter Bolt(1) - Install
  5. Install the starter nut (1).
  6. GM3763311

    Remove and DISCARD the 8 automatic transmission flex plate bolts (2).

  7. Automatic Transmission Flex Plate(1) - Remove
