Engine Flywheel Installation

1	Crankshaft Position Sensor Reluctor Ring CAUTION: Refer to Crankshaft Position Sensor Reluctor Ring Caution .
2	Engine Flywheel Procedure Install the flywheel, and install the flywheel bolts hand tight to hold in place. Install EN-51760 holder to lock the flywheel via the starter ring gear. Special Tools EN-51760 Flywheel Holder Equivalent regional tools: Special Tools .
3	Engine Flywheel Bolt[8x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . CAUTION: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution . NOTE: Bolts have adhesive patch and must be tightened to final torque within 5 minutes. Procedure Tighten the NEW flywheel bolts in the sequence shown. Tighten the bolts a first pass to 20 N.m (15 lb ft). Tighten the bolts a second pass to 30 N.m (22 lb ft). Using the EN-45059 angle meter, tighten the bolt a final pass 70 degrees. Remove EN-51760 holder once final torque is achieved. Special Tools EN-45059 Angle Meter Equivalent regional tools: Special Tools .
4	Clutch Driven Plate
5	Clutch Pressure Plate
6	Clutch Pressure Plate Bolt[6x] NOTE: Bolts have adhesive patch and must be tightened to final torque within 5 minutes. Procedure Tighten the clutch pressure plate bolts in the sequence shown. Install the clutch cover bolts using a low torque gun, following the tightening sequence. Continue to gradually tighten the bolts until the cover assembly contacts the flywheel. Tighten the bolts a first pass to 20 N.m (15 lb ft). Tighten the bolt a final pass to final torque.
