Cylinder Head Oil Gallery Plugs, Turbocharger Studs, Spark Plugs, and Engine Oil Manifold Check Valve Installation

Preliminary Procedure Apply sealant to all plugs prior to installation. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers .
1	Engine Oil Manifold Check Valve (Qty: 2) Use lubricant included with EN-46122 remover/installer to lubricate the outside of the new check valve. With the check ball end of the check valve facing DOWN, towards the head, insert the NEW check valve into the check valve bore in the cylinder head. Place EN-46122-2 collar over the new check valve with the slightly-larger inside diameter of the collar DOWN toward the cylinder head. Using the EN-46122-1 driver, lightly tap the new check valve into place until the driver stops against the top of the collar. Special Tools EN-46122 Camshaft Position Actuator Check-Ball Valve Remover/Installer For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
2	Cylinder Head Core Hole Plug (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . Procedure Install NEW cylinder head plugs. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
3	Spark Plug (Qty: 4) CAUTION: In order to avoid damage, install the spark plugs after the cylinder head has been installed on the engine. Tighten 17 N.m (13 lb ft)
4	Cylinder Head Core Hole Plug Procedure Install NEW cylinder head plug. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
5	Cylinder Head Oil Restrictor Plug (Qty: 1) Procedure Install a NEW cylinder head plug.
6	Double End Stud - Cylinder Head to Turbocharger (Qty:4) CAUTION: Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
7	Cylinder Head Core Hole Plug (Qty: 4) Procedure Install NEW cylinder head plugs.
8	Cylinder Head Core Hole Plug Procedure Install NEW cylinder head plug. Tighten 75 N.m (55 lb ft)
