Preliminary Procedure Remove the front floor console cup holder plate. Front Floor Console Cup Holder Plate Replacement WARNING: After installing the transmission range selector shift cable, pull up and push down on ALL connections to verify that the connections are fully seated and properly engaged. Failure to perform this task can result in the vehicle not being able to shift into PARK causing potential vehicle damage and bodily injury. Disconnect the range selector lever cable. Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement Disconnect the transmission control electrical connectors.
1	Transmission Control Fasteners [4x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in).
