Component Testing

NOTE: The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor must be between 10 - 32°C (50 - 90°F) for an accurate measurement.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate Q17 Fuel Injector.
  2. Test for 1.06 Ω +/- 10% @ 20°C (68°F) between the terminals of the fuel injector.
    • If not within the specified range 

      Replace the Q17 Fuel Injector.

    • Go to next step: If within the specified range 
  3. Test for infinite resistance between each terminal and the fuel injector housing/case.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the Q17 Fuel Injector.

    • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
  4. All OK.
