Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel feed and EVAP hose (3) to the vehicle and retainers.
  2. Connect the fuel pressure sensor electrical connector.
  3. Connect the fuel hose (2) to the fuel pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the EVAP hose (1) to the EVAP pipe. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Install the fuel feed and EVAP hose (4) to the retainers.
  6. Connect the EVAP hose (3) to the EVAP canister purge tube. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  7. Connect the fuel hose (2) to the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
    8. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  8. Install the fuel feed and EVAP hose nut (1) and torque to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  9. Raise the transmission back to it original position. Transmission Replacement , for the 6L80 or Transmission Replacement for the 8L90.
