Camshaft Position Actuator Magnet Cleaning And Inspection

  1. Remove the camshaft position sensor. Refer to Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement .
  2. Clean the camshaft position sensor using a clean shop towel with an appropriate cleaner.
  3. Inspect the camshaft position sensor and replace if evidence of damage or wear exists.
