Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the bank 1 valve rocker arm cover insulator. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Cover Insulator Replacement - Left Side 
1 Oil Level indicator Tube fastener
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Oil Level Indicator Tube

Procedure

  1. Inspect the oil level indicator tube seal for damage or cuts.
  2. Replace the oil level indicator tube seal as needed.
  3. Use clean engine oil to lubricate the oil level indicator tube seal prior to installing the tube.
