| Preliminary Procedure Clean the holes in the block of any debris or residual fastener thread sealant. Failing to do so can cause the bolts not to reach proper torque and/or clamp load. |

This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Tighten the cylinder head bolts each pass in the sequence shown. Tighten 80 N.m (59 lb ft) + 90° + 60° |
