Circuit/System Verification

NOTE: This DTC is always set in combination with other DTCs.
  1. Verify DTC P175E is not set.
    • Go to next step: If no DTC is set 
  2. Verify the scan tool parameter:Shift Limiting Active Reason = Transmission Control System - Shift Limiting Active
    • If not the specified state 
    1. Verify there are no DTCs/symptoms related to the following system/component, if equipped:
    • B107 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
    • B21A Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor
    • B22 Brake Pedal Position Sensor
    • B303 Transmission Range Sensor
    • B5LF Wheel Speed Sensor - Left Front
    • B5LR Wheel Speed Sensor - Left Rear
    • B5RF Wheel Speed Sensor - Right Front
    • B5RR Wheel Speed Sensor - Right Rear
    • If a DTC or symptom exists 

      Repair or replace as necessary.

    • Go to next step: If no DTC or symptom exists 
  3. Verify the following conditions do not exist:
    • Engine Torque = Low or Unstable
    • Engine Speed = Low or Unstable
    • Go to next step: If no condition exists 
  4. All OK.
