Component Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Remove the component: Automatic Transmission Fluid Pan
  3. Remove the component: Control Valve Assembly
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector: B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor
  5. Test for 20 to 200, 000 Ω between the test points: Signal terminal 2 & Low Reference terminal 1
    • If not between 20 and 200, 000 Ω 

      Replace the component: B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor

    • If between 20 and 200, 000 Ω 
  6. Verify the value is within the range listed in the table:
    • If not in the specified range 

      Replace the component: B13 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor

    • If in the specified range 
  7. All OK.
