Diagnostic Aids

A DTC may set depending on certain driving conditions and would not require a component replacement. The Circuit/System Verification must be performed.
Verify the following conditions do not exist :
- Mechanical damage to the camshaft position sensor or the reluctor ring.
- Gap between the crankshaft position sensor and the reluctor ring is out of tolerance.
- Foreign objects between the crankshaft position sensor and the reluctor ring.
