Component Testing

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2018 GMC Yukon XL, 2018 GMC Yukon, 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2018 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2018 Cadillac Escalade ESV. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect a 3 A fused jumper wire between the test points : 5 V Reference terminal 3 & 5 V
  2. Connect a jumper wire between the test points : Low Reference terminal 1 & Ground
  3. Test for 2.5 to 4.0 V between the test points : Signal terminal 2 & Low Reference terminal 1
    • If not between 2.5 and 4.0 V 

      Replace the appropriate component :

      • B310 Fuel Pressure/Temperature Sensor
      • B47B Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
    • Go to next step : If between 2.5 and 4.0 V 
  4. All OK.
