Circuit/System Verification

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2018 GMC Yukon XL, 2018 GMC Yukon, 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2018 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2018 Cadillac Escalade ESV. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following system/component : 5 V Reference
    • If any of the DTCs are set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing below

    • Go to next step : If none of the DTCs are set 
  3. Verify there are no DTCs set related to the following system/component :
    • B310 Fuel Pressure/Temperature Sensor
    • B47B Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
    • If other DTCs are set - With DTC P0191 set. 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing below

    • Go to next step : If only DTC P0191 is set & No other DTCs related to the concerned component are set. 

    Replace the appropriate component :

    • B310 Fuel Pressure/Temperature Sensor
    • B47B Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
    • If none of the DTCs are set
  4. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  5. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If any of the DTCs are set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing below

    • Go to next step : If none of the DTCs are set 
  6. All OK.
