- If any of the DTCs are set
- Go to next step : If none of the DTCs are set
- Engine - Cranking - For 10 s
Verify the function : Engine = Running
- If the function does not workIncorrect tagging -1, needs to be bole
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below
- If the function worksIncorrect tagging -1, needs to be bole
- If the function does not workIncorrect tagging -1, needs to be bole
- Engine - Idling
- Verify the scan tool parameter : Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor 1 = 1.9 to 5.0 MPa (276 to 725 PSI)
- If not between 1.9 and 5.0 MPa (276 and 725 PSI)
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below
- Go to next step : If between 1.9 and 5.0 MPa (276 and 725 PSI)
- If not between 1.9 and 5.0 MPa (276 and 725 PSI)
- Perform the scan tool control function : Fuel Rail Pressure - Increase & Decrease
Verify the scan tool parameter : Fuel Rail Pressure = The value should change with each command.
- If the value does not change
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below
- Go to next step : If the value changes
- If the value does not change
- Clear the DTCs.
- From a stop, accelerate to 7, 000 RPM with the throttle position greater than 95%.WARNING: Road test a vehicle under safe conditions and while obeying all traffic laws. Do not attempt any maneuvers that could jeopardize vehicle control. Failure to adhere to these precautions could lead to serious personal injury and vehicle damage.
Verify the scan tool parameter : Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor 1 = 14 to 17 MPa (2, 031 to 2, 466 PSI)
- If not between 14 and 17 MPa (2, 031 and 2, 466 PSI)
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below
- Go to next step : If between 14 and 17 MPa (2, 031 and 2, 466 PSI)
- If not between 14 and 17 MPa (2, 031 and 2, 466 PSI)
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to Circuit/System Testing below
- Go to next step : If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
