Static Test

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the appropriate electrical connector : Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve
  3. Test for 6 to 12 Ω between the test points : Control circuit terminal 2/B & Low Reference terminal 1/A
    • If not between 6 and 12 Ω 

      Replace the component : Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step : If between 6 and 12 Ω 
  4. Test for infinite resistance between the test points : Each terminal of the component & The component's housing
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the component : Q6 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve

    • Go to next step : If infinite resistance 
  5. All OK.
