Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission vent hose clip bracket (3) to the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the transmission vent hose clip bracket retaining nut (2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Connect the transmission vent hose assembly retainers (1) to the transmission vent hose clip bracket (3).
  4. Connect transfer case vent hose assembly to the hose clip bracket, if equipped with four wheel drive.
  5. Position the wiring harness to the stud bolt.
  6. Lower the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
