Installation Procedure

  1. Install the NEW main control to case seal on the main control assembly
  2. Install the control valve body (2) and the control valve body assembly bolts (1) in the transmission.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Tighten the bolts (1) in the sequence shown to 10.5 N.m (93 lb in).
  4. Connect the transmission control wiring harness to the control valve body.

  5. Install the transmission fluid filter (6) and fluid pan assembly. Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement 
  6. Fill the transmission. Transmission Fluid Fill Procedure
  7. Perform the service fast learn procedure. Transmission Service Fast Learn Procedure 
  8. Reprogram the transmission. Solenoid Valve Characterization Reprogramming
