Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transmission fluid filter (6). Automatic Transmission Fluid, Fluid Pan and/or Filter Replacement 
  2. Disconnect the transmission control wiring harness from the control valve body.

    NOTE:

    The main control to case seal should stay with the main control assembly.

    NOTE:

    The bolts are marked by arrows in the valve body casting.

  3. Remove the eight control valve body bolts (1) and the control valve body assembly (2) from the transmission.
