Removal Procedure

  1. Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
  2. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
  3. Remove the BPMV bolt (1).

  4. Carefully separate the BPMV assembly from the BPMV bracket insulators and remove the BPMV bracket (1).

    NOTE: Do not pry on the accumulator caps on the underside of the BPMV.
  5. Inspect the insulators for damage and replace, if necessary.
