Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear seat latch cable. Refer to Rear Seat Latch Cable Replacement . Remove the rear seat cushion trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (60/40 Bench) Rear Seat Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Bucket) . Disengage the seat cushion cover J-channel at the rear of the seat cushion frame. Pull upward slightly on the rear of the seat cushion cover and pad to gain access to the seat latch fasteners. Remove the rear seat latch cable from the latch only.
1	Rear Seat Latch Fastener (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Rear Seat Latch (Qty: 2)

Pull upward slightly on the rear of the seat cushion cover and pad to gain access to the seat latch fasteners.
Remove the rear seat latch cable from the latch only.

Rear Seat Latch Fastener (Qty: 4)

CAUTION:

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)
