Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors at each of the B152 Suspension Position Sensors and the B196 Air Suspension Pressure Sensor.
- Disconnect the harness connector at the K19 Suspension Control Module. Ignition ON.
- Test for less than 1 V between the following K19 Suspension Control Module 5V reference circuits and ground.
- Terminal 33
- Terminal 34
- Terminal 35
- Terminal 36
- Terminal 23
- If greater than 1 V
Repair the short to voltage on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If less than 1 V
- Ignition OFF.
- Test for infinite resistance between the following K19 Suspension Control Module 5V reference circuits and ground.
- Terminal 33
- Terminal 34
- Terminal 35
- Terminal 36
- Terminal 23
- If less than infinite resistance
Repair the short to ground on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If infinite resistance
- Ignition OFF, connect the harness connector at the K19 Suspension Control Module. Ignition ON.
- Verify the scan tool Suspension Position 5V Reference parameter is greater than 4.75 V.
- If 4.75 V or less
Replace the K19 Suspension Control Module.
- Go to next step: If greater than 4.75 V
- If 4.75 V or less
- Clear the DTCs.
- Connect each B152 Suspension Position Sensors and the B196 Air Suspension Pressure Sensor one at a time. Verify DTC C0696 is not set after each sensor is connected.
- If DTC C0696 is set
Replace the appropriate B152 Suspension Position Sensor or B196 Air Suspension Pressure Sensor that set the DTC.
- Go to next step: If DTC C0696 is not set
- If DTC C0696 is set
- All OK.
