When to Perform the Procedure

The Transmission Service Fast Learn Procedure must be performed when any of the following repairs have been made to the vehicle. Failure to perform the procedure may result in poor transmission performance, as well as transmission DTCs being set:

A90 Logic - Software Update
K71 Transmission Control Module - Software Update
Replace the component: Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
Replace the component: K71 Transmission Control Module
Replace the component: T12 Automatic Transmission Assembly
Transmission internal service/overhaul
Any service in response to a shift quality concern
