Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Drain the transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill (Maintenance) Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill (Repair)
- Control Valve Body Cover @ Transmission - Remove - Control Valve Body Cover Replacement
Remove the 3 fluid strainer mounting bolts (1).
- Remove the fluid strainer (2) from the control valve body.
Remove and DISCARD the O-ring (1) from the fluid strainer.
Remove the 2 fluid pressure switch harness bracket bolts (1).
- Disconnect the fluid pressure switch connector (2).
Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch (1) @ Control Valve Body - Remove
