Installation Procedure

Install the transmission range selector cable bracket (2).
- Install the transmission range selector lever cable bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
Connect the range selector lever cable (2) to the range selector lever cable bracket.
- Connect the transmission range selector lever cable terminal (1) to the range selector lever.
- Check the range selector lever cable adjustment. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
Install the battery positive cable retainer (1) to the range selector lever cable bracket.
- Install the ECM to the battery tray. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
- Install the radiator surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement .
