Conditions for Setting the DTC

DTC P0961 - Condition 1
Actual Pulley Gear-Ratio = greater than 2.55 for 200 ms. Condition must happen twice within 1 s.
DTC P0961 - Condition 2
Actual Pulley Gear-Ratio = greater than 3.35 for 100 ms. Condition must happen twice within 1 s.
DTC P0962
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is shorted to ground.
- Actual Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Current = Less than 200 mA For greater than 0.2 s
DTC P0963
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is not shorted to ground.
- Actual Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Current = Less than 200 mA For greater than 0.2 s
DTC P0965 - Condition 1
Actual Pulley Gear-Ratio = 2.0 - 2.4 when the target pulley ratio is less than 1.2 for greater than 5 s.
DTC P0965 - Condition 2
Actual Pulley Gear-Ratio = 0.35 - 0.75 when the target pulley ratio is greater than 1.55 for greater than 5 s.
DTC P0966
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is shorted to ground.
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 2 Current Command = 750 mA
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 2 (L-299) tool displays Actual Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 2 Current = less than 200 mA for 480 ms (when 750 mA is commanded).
DTC P0967
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is not shorted to ground.
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 2 (L-299) tool displays Actual Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 2 Current = less than 200 mA for 200 ms (when 750 mA is commanded).
DTC P0970
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is shorted to ground.
- Actual Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 3 Current = less than 200 mA for 480 ms (when 750 mA is commanded).
DTC P0971 - Condition 1
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is not shorted to ground.
- Actual Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 3 Current = less than 200 mA for 200 ms (when 750 mA is commanded).
DTC P0971 - Condition 2
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is not shorted to ground.
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 3 = Off
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 3 (Voltage Monitor) (in matrix but not MLCRD) = Greater than 8.0 V
DTC P2720
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is shorted to ground.
- Actual Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Current = less than 200 mA for 200 ms (when 750 mA is commanded).
DTC P2721 - Condition 1
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is not shorted to ground.
- Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Current Command = 750 mA
- Actual Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Current = less than 200 mA for 200 ms.
DTC P2721 - Condition 2
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is not shorted to ground.
- Actual Pressure Control Solenoid Valve 4 Current = greater than 8 V when solenoid valve 4 is commanded off
DTC P2763
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is not shorted to ground.
- Actual TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Current = 200 mA or less for 5 s (when 750 mA is commanded).
DTC P2764
- The transmission control module has determined that the control circuit is shorted to ground.
- Actual TCC Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Current = 200 mA or less for 480 ms (when 750 mA is commanded).
