Conditions for Running the DTC

• System Voltage = 9-32 V
• Pressure control solenoid valve control circuit = greater than 750 mA. (not P0961, P0965)
• DTC runs continuously when the above conditions are met.

DTC P0961

• DTC P0717, P0721 = Not set
• Engine Speed = Greater than 600 RPM
• S3 Transmission Shift Lever = D, L or R.
• Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Signal = greater than -0.48 m/s² (-0.05G)
• Accelerator Pedal Position = Greater than 10%
• Primary Pulley Speed = Greater than 500 RPM
• Transmission OSS Less than 108 RPM or Secondary Pulley Speed = Greater than 61 RPM

• DTC P0717, P0792, P0841, P0842, P0843, P0961, P0962, P0963, P0965 = Not set
• Engine Speed = Greater than 500 RPM
• S3 Transmission Shift Lever = D, L or R.
