Actions Taken When the DTC Sets

• DTCs P0961-P0963, P0965-P0967, P0970, P0971, P2720, P2721, P2763, P2764 are Type B DTCs.
• Autostart/Autostop Disabled

DTC P0961-P0963, P0965-P0967

• Pulley Gear-Ratio Command = 0.55-0.8 (P0965, P0966, P0967 only)
• Torque Converter Clutch Disabled
• Engine Torque = Less than 100 N.m
• Current Gear not = 2nd Gear - Auxiliary gearbox held in 1st gear until wheel speed = 0 km/h (0 mph) then forced to 2nd gear.
• Current Gear = 2nd Gear - Auxiliary gearbox is held in 2nd gear until ignition OFF.

DTC P0970

• Current Gear not = 2nd Gear - current gear forced to 2nd gear once wheel speed = less than 40 km/h (25 mph).
• Current Gear = 2nd Gear - 2nd gear held until wheel speed = 0 km/h (0 mph).

DTC P0971

• When the transmission control module has determined that there is an open in the circuit, if commanding 1st gear the auxiliary gearbox will be in a neutral state until wheel speed = less than 40 km/h (25 mph) then forced to 2nd gear.
• When the transmission control module has determined that there is a short to voltage in the circuit, the auxiliary gearbox is held in 1st gear.

DTC P2720

• Current Gear not = 2nd Gear - current gear forced to 2nd gear.
• Current Gear = 2nd Gear - 2nd gear held until ignition off.

DTC P2721

• When the transmission control module has determined that there is an open in the circuit, the auxiliary gearbox will be held in 2nd gear.
• When the transmission control module has determined that there is a short to voltage in the circuit, if commanding 2nd gear the auxiliary gearbox will be in a neutral state until wheel speed = less than 40 km/h (25 mph) then forced to 1st gear).

DTC P2763, P2764

• Torque Converter Clutch = Disabled
• Engine torque is controlled until sufficient clutch operation is obtained.
