- DTC P0705 sets when an invalid range is detected.
- DTC P0706 sets when the Transmission Control Module detects a mismatch between the Transmission Range Switch A/B/C/P signal and the Park Neutral Position Switch Park Signal.
- DTC P0851 sets when a low voltage condition is detected on the park neutral position switch ignition circuit.
- By disconnecting the transmission range switch, all ground paths of the TR switch circuits would be removed and the TCM would recognize all circuits as open. The scan tool will display High for all range signals.
