Dissimilar Fluid

- If the transmission uses fluid other than DEXRON @VI fluid, blow out residual fluid from cooler and cooler lines with compressed air.
- Connect the oil cooler supply line to the transmission.
- Put the return line in waste oil container.
- Fill transmission with 6.38 liters (6.75 quarts) of transmission fluid.
- Run engine at idle for 10 seconds.
- Connect the oil cooler return line to the transmission.
CAUTION:
Do not run engine for more than 10 seconds or transmission damage may occur.
