Installation Procedure

    Install the transmission mount strut bracket (2) to the transmission.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the NEW transmission mount strut bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft) + 60 to 75 degrees.

    Install the NEW transmission mount strut front bolt (1) and tighten to 100 N.m (74 lb ft) + 60 to 75 degrees.

  4. Remove the jack stand.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
