Removal Procedure

- Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
- Remove the engine control module. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
- Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater) .
- Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (LV7)Engine Support Fixture .
Remove and DISCARD the transmission mount bolts (1).
Remove the transmission mount frame side bracket nut (1).
Remove the transmission mount frame side bracket bolts (1).
- Remove the transmission mount (2) from the vehicle.
