Measure the end thickness of shift fork and replace if necessary.

Specifications 

• The standard shift fork end thickness for the low speed shift fork is 8.7 mm (0.343 in).
• The shift fork end thickness limit for the low speed shift fork is 8.56 mm (0.337 in).
• The standard shift fork end thickness for the high speed shift fork is 7.8 mm (0.307 in).
• The shift fork end thickness limit for the high speed shift fork is 7.66 mm (0.302 in).
• The standard shift fork end thickness for the fifth gear shift fork is 7.8 mm (0.307 in).
• The shift fork end thickness limit for the fifth gear shift fork is 7.66 mm (0.302 in).
