Fire Protection Information

For fire protection and prevention of refrigerant decomposition (hydrogen fluoride (HF) formation) at the service workstation following rules are required:
- No naked flames or electric arc welding
- No operation of open radiant heaters
- No smoking
- Correct storage of refrigerant inventories
- Proper shutdown of the A/C filling device
- Good ventilation in the workshop (1 air change per hour)
- Good ventilation in assembling pits (3 air changes per hour)
- Exclusive use of a suitable A/C filling device.
