Fire Protection Information

For fire protection and prevention of refrigerant decomposition (hydrogen fluoride (HF) formation) at the service workstation following rules are required:

No naked flames or electric arc welding
No operation of open radiant heaters
No smoking
Correct storage of refrigerant inventories
Proper shutdown of the A/C filling device
Good ventilation in the workshop (1 air change per hour)
Good ventilation in assembling pits (3 air changes per hour)
Exclusive use of a suitable A/C filling device.
