Installation Procedure

- Use the CH-42450-A wheel hub resurfacing kit to clean the wheel hub flange of any corrosion.
- Install the brake drum (2).
- Adjust the drum brakes. Refer to Drum Brake Adjustment .
- Install the brake drum screw (1) and tighten to 4 N.m (35 lb in).CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Apply the brakes 2 or 3 times to seat and center the brake shoes on the brake drum.
