Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the brake drum. Refer to Brake Drum Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear wheel hub and bearing assembly. Refer to Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement .
  5. Install a wheel nut (2) flush with the end of the wheel stud (3).

  6. Using the CH-43631  ball joint remover (1), remove the wheel stud (3) from the wheel hub (4).
