Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Rear Shock Absorber (1) @ Vehicle - Remove - Shock Absorber Replacement

Use the CH-51095 shock absorber strut nut wrench (1) or equivalent to remove the rear suspension shock absorber upper mounting nut.
