Installation Procedure

  1. Rear Shock Absorber Mount (2) @ Rear Shock Absorber - Install

  2. Rear Suspension Shock Absorber Upper Mounting Nut (1) - Install
  3. Use the CH-51095  shock absorber strut nut wrench (1) or equivalent to tighten the rear suspension shock absorber upper mounting nut.

  4. Rear Suspension Shock Absorber Upper Mounting Nut - Install and tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Fastener Caution
  5. Rear Shock Absorber (1) @ Vehicle - Install - Shock Absorber Replacement

  6. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  7. Lower the vehicle.
