Installation Procedure

- Use the CH-51725-8
wheel bearing installation adapter (1), CH-51725-7
wheel hub/bearing installation supporter (2) and hydraulic press to install the new front wheel bearing into the steering knuckle
NOTE: Ensure that the wheel bearing is evenly seated in the steering knuckle. Be careful that the CH-51725-7 wheel hub/bearing installation supporter (2) is positioned to the right direction in order that the inner race of bearing is not supported.
- Install the front wheel bearing retaining ring (1) in the steering knuckle.
- Position the CH-51725-7
wheel hub/bearing installation supporter (1) and the appropriate extension to the inside of bearing and position the CH-51725-10
wheel hub installation adapter (2) and the appropriate extension on the wheel hub.
NOTE: Be careful that the CH-51725-7 wheel hub/bearing installation supporter (2) is positioned to the right direction in order that the inner race of bearing is supported.
- Press the front wheel hub until it is correctly seated.
- Verify the front wheel bearing and hub assembly rotates smoothly.
- Install the steering knuckle. Refer to Steering Knuckle Replacement .
- Lower the vehicle.
