Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster Arm Cleaning and Inspection

- Inspect the hydraulic valve lash adjuster arm roller (1) for the following:
- Flat spots
- Excessive scoring and pitting
- Ensure the roller spins freely
- Inspect the hydraulic valve lash adjuster arm valve tip area (2).
- Inspect the hydraulic valve lash adjuster pivot area (3).
- Replace the hydraulic valve lash adjuster arms as necessary.
