Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
    NOTE: Refer to HVAC System Malfunction  before performing this procedure.
  2. Verify the scan tool ECM A/C Request Signal parameter changes from No to Yes under both of the following conditions listed below:
    • Defrost mode selected with blower ON, A/C switch OFF
    • A/C switch depressed with blower ON, temperature controls at their coolest setting and mode controls in any position other than defrost mode
    • If NO under one or both of the conditions above 

      Replace the K33 HVAC Control Module.
