Installation Procedure

  1. Install Rear Brake Pipe (1) @ Vehicle
  2. Install Rear Brake Pipe (1) @ 3 Way Clip (3)
  3. Install Rear Brake Pipe (1) @ Bolted Clips (2) (Qty: 2)

  4. Install Rear Brake Pipe (1) @ Clip (3)
  5. Install Rear Brake Pipe (1) @ Mounted Clip (2)

  8. Install Rear Brake Pipe (1) @ 2 Way Clip (1)

  9. Install Rear Brake Pipe (1) @1 Way Clips (2) (Qty: 3)

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  10. Install and tighten Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Rear Brake Hose (2) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  11. Install Evaporative Emission Pipe. Refer to Evaporative Emission Pipe Replacement (L5Q)Evaporative Emission Pipe Replacement (LV7)
  12. Install Fuel Feed Pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Underbody (L5Q)Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Underbody (LV7)
  13. Install Fuel Tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (32L (8.5 US Gallon) Tank)Fuel Tank Replacement (35L (9 US Gallon) Tank)
  14. Install Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Cradle Replacement .

  15. Install and tighten Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) @ Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (2) to 18 N.m (13 lb ft)
  16. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (LHD) Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (RHD) 
  17. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (LHD) Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (RHD) 
  18. Install Battery Tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (without Engine Block Heater)Battery Tray Replacement (with Engine Block Heater)
  19. Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  20. Lower the vehicle.
